Fintan Magee was born 1985 in Lismore NSW, encouraged by his parents he began drawing at a young age. In 2009 he began painting full time and has generated the momentum of a steam train in recent months.
His walls, oil paintings and prints create visual circus of scattered imagery and styles, drawing inspiration from advertising, nature, street culture and architecture, His paintings transport the viewer beyond mundane routines and expectations, into a world of unexpected beauty and chaotic balance, highlighting the extraordinary nature of our everyday existence.
Magee currently resides in Brisbane, Australia and works as an artist, illustrator, designer and muralist.
