As an artist who draws inspiration from folk tales, childhood memories and events from my personal relationships, I have always had a huge interest in creating and sharing my stories. In the last few years, my interests have drawn me into creating a wide range of artworks, some of which have included paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, as well as art installations.
The basis to these works is always from that of a child’s perspective, flowing back and forth…between the present and the past. Asking the viewer to look beyond the obvious, the ideas around my artwork revolve around the importance that all our memories have.
